Marc Spector was born to play corner back. Literally, he was developed in a lab with the specific purpose to play corner back in the NSFL. So, for him to switch positions would be to go against his design. However, he is still a human being and personal desires may be taken into consideration. All Marc wants to do is play corner back, or safety. When given the opportunity to play wide receiver or tight end, he only responds "If that is where I am best needed for the Otters." It is not some sort of programmed response or anything, but it is truly his desire to be whatever play maker the Otters need of him. He simply enjoys playing the game and feels he does best at the position of corner back.
If I had to create another character to play a position different than corner back? Well, I would like to actually try O-Line. I know that's not a position that people really make but so what? I think it'd be a fun position to play, regardless of the complete lack of stats and obvious disadvantages. But I'm clearly a masochist because i enjoy the glory free corner back position so much I've had 2 of them.
