So, this is really two questions, so I’ll answer both.
If Reese position switched, I’d probably stay on defense. I feel like it’s a great fit for him and I like the idea of helping fill a need on this side of the ball. Linebacker feels like the most natural switch and is a position that is often needed, much like D-Line. The D-Line also focus a lot on helping create holes for the LBs to get through and create sacks, so the two really go hand-in-hand.
As far as a new brand player, I’d probably go back to RB or WR. In truth, I never got to be the lead back that I originally wanted to be and I was always more of a receiving back; it was the archetype that made sense for the team at the time. So, if I created a new RB, I think I would go more of a traditional speed RB. The league has a ton of RBs and it’s always going to be a popular position, but I’m confident enough in myself as an earner that I think I could win a starting job somewhere. WR would also be very appealing. I enjoyed my 4 seasons as a WR and would also enjoy recreating. Maybe a possession or red zone WR just to offer up something different since speed / route runner are both popular.
