As a player, I love road trips to road games. You don't get the same bonding as you get when you're with your teammates in close quarters for a short while. You get to learn things about your teammates outside the football field. You learn their likes, dislikes, interests, and what kind of person they are.
On our trips, I've tended to room with my wide receiver partner Kazimir Oles, or Kazzy as I call him. We have similar interests and also playing the same position brings about more conversation. We both love gaming so we'll each bring some games on the road with us. I bring a Nintendo Switch and we'll hammer Super Smash Bros. for a long time. We also dabble in some cards as well, testing our competitive spirit. Lately, we've been hanging out with our fellow offensive weapons, Canton and Christ, on the road. We're trying to increase our chemistry and hanging out on the road has helped. We're getting to know each other and what people we are and you really develop a bond with them. It really makes you give that extra 10% on the field, knowing your teammates have your back out there. Being on the road is definitely a time I cherish with my teammates.
