Yeti vs Liberty... Post Game.
The Colorado Yeti and Philadelphia Liberty entered the playoffs with identical 8-6 records. In their first matchup (in preseason) the Liberty prevailed 31-6. In their initial regular season game, the Yeti cracked the Liberty Bell winning 59-0. Game 2 resulted in a much closer Yeti 30-26 win.
The Yeti are lead by QB Micycle McCormick. He had a solid season, finishing middle of the pack in most stats. The Liberty are lead by future goat QB Adriana Falconi, and RB Marquise Brown. The Yeti defense was bolstered by some big offseason trades and free agency aquisitions that transformed them from a league worst defense to a pretty good defense.
The Liberty started off with the ball. Unfortunately QB Falconi mistook CB Beau Montgomery for one of her receivers. After the Yeti turned the mistake into 6, Falconi decided it would be best to throw to Montgomery again. Falconi proceeded to throw 5 interceptions, and the Yeti offense was feasting. Flashbacks off that 59-0 win- the Yeti put up 50 on the Liberty again. The Liberty offense did manage to score 27 in the game, but with a halftime score of 31-6, it would not be nearly enough. Yeti win. The Ultimus would be between the Colorado Yeti and Orange County Otters.

Spotlight on the Youth
The Colorado Yeti pushed into the Ultimus with an influx of veteran talent to pair with the young core. In their first playoff game versus the Philadelphia Liberty, it was the young core that showed out. Logan Lejune didn't do to much, as he contributed a sack. S12 teammates Axel Hornbacher and Beau Montgomery were the catalysts to a round 1 blowout. On the first possession, Montgomery snagged a Falconi pass to set up a quick Yeti touchdown. A few plays later he was at it again... Another pick and a 14 point lead for the Snowmen. A few plays later, another interception. This time by Hornbacher. The young Yeti DBs ended the Liberties hopes before the could begin.
Orange County Otter will be a tougher challenge. Superstar QB Gus T.T. Showbiz isn't likely to throw 5 picks. He has a talented array of wideouts, and dangerous running backs to throw to. Montgomery and Hornbacher will need to play their best for the Yeti to win. To add to that, Logan Lejune and Soupy McBrain need to contribute as well. Colorado has a ton of youth that needs to perform. Most importantly, Colorado's young defensive backs absolutely need to play well against OCOs air raid attack.

Interview with a fan
So first of all, how tough was the loss to the otters earlier today?
It was rough. The Yeti basically sacrificed the future for this one Ultimus appearance. We had to win this one. Losing a close game like that makes it even worse
Losing in the Ultimus, especially to the Otters is certainly a downer. What do you think your kickoff team could've done better?
Well perhaps attempting an onside kick would have been nice. You can't just give OCO the ball with that amount of time left.
Agreed. The Seahawks made the same mistake against the cowboys however the stakes were lower. You hate to see that happen. How do you think you will try to get back to the Ultimus next season?
Our core is young and still improving. I hope we can pick up the slack from the free agents/ retiring players we might lose. I hope we can maybe re-sign a free agent or two and make another run.
Yes, that does sound like quite the situation, but I believe you can pull through. Fourth question is what is your favourite Mcdonalds burger
McDonald's is on the bottom of my list of restaurants I would go to. So not my favorite burger but the one I tolerate most is the Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
Yes, Mcdonalds is not for the wealthy. Thats all we have today! Thank you for your time!
