1) IT IS OUR TIME THIS (NEXT) YEAR - Can be completed anytime
The Baltimore Hawks are a strong team. Although they failed to make the playoffs this season, they are littered with talent up and down their roster. Look at last season, the Hawks were playing in the Ultimus game and just fell short to a strong Orange County squad. Only being a year removed from a near championship, the Hawks are not quite looking to rebuild yet and are poised to potentially make another strong run next season. After picking up a promising quarterback in Corvo Havran with the 2nd overall pick in the recent NSFL draft and grabbing Joseph Henry 7th overall, the Hawks are filling all the gaps in their lineup. Now, although the Hawks added another quarterback to the roster, Gambino is still going strong and has amazing receivers in Valentine and Maddox to aim for. On defense, the Hawks now have a complete defensive line that will only continue to get better as each member is still early in their career. Their secondary is also fairly strong and experienced with the likes of Hondo and Bly Jr. Look for the Hawks to return to form this coming season as the young player on the team begin to step into important roles and continue to develop into elite NSFL players.
4) QUARTERBACK MATCHUP
Another NSFL season and another appearance in the finals for the Orange County Otters. This also meant another chance for Gus Showbiz to showcase his talents. However, this season Showbiz was matched up against against a grizzled vet in Micycle McCormick. Now unfortunately neither quarterback really shined in this matchup. While they both found the endzone twice, neither had an exceptionally great game. In championship games fans expect star players to show up and be the catalyst for success that their team needs, however, fans on both side were most likely disappointed with the play of their QB. Now, if you had to choice one of these men as their better quarterback for this game, it would have to be McCormick. The Yetis' QB did everything he could to try and lead his team to victory. He had more passing yards and 1 less interception. The Yetis leaned hard on him to produce and he did as much as he could. Completing around 60% of his passes and this could have been higher had it not been for the strong secondary of the Otters. McCormick was victim to 8 pass defenses and 1 interception. The secondary on the Otters stepped up to ensure that their QB had to opportunity to propel them to back-to-back championships.
