1) IT IS OUR TIME THIS (NEXT) YEAR - Can be completed anytime
Well I am not 100% sure myself if the Hawks will look like ultimus champs as soon as next season, but I feel they are on the rise again. Sure this season wasn't something the team should be proud of, but the ending wasn't the worst and showed signs of promise. The team shed a lot of key veteran pieces but has been growing non stop this season. A team that is like a chili, it will need to wait for all the pieces to blend together, cook, stew and allow all the flavours to come out. The Defense is the Beans, adding the hearty fibre to the team, and pushing all the bad things out. The Offense, the meat, it's full of good proteins and drives the team forward with its nutrients and piles up the points for the wins. The Hawks just need to sit and remain patient really and let the pieces all come together with time and patience. It will be interesting to see who decides to step in with the GM stepping down and take this team from what is turning into a Buffalo Bills level of championship game success and moving it towards patriots levels instead. Who does this 'defensive' tackle think he is?
Jealous? You think I am Jealous of some clown who was clearly named after the god of thunder in an attempt to sound cool? I for one know from inside sources he legally changed his name on his 18th Birthday for that very reason. His original first name?
Baandaid
Yes. Baandaid SKARsgard.
I don't know if his parents really love their Seven Deadly Sins anime or have a really cruel sense of humour, but he made a point to 'remedy' that by naming himself after Chris Hemsworth. I mean the dudes a looker (no homo) but it's the equivalent of owning a Ford 350 with a lift kit and pipes on the back. Maybe he didnt want to feel left out of the ridiculous naming we are seeing more and more now a days, as we moved away from the old timey sounding names like Reginald and Gretchkin to things like HAHA, Freedom, Saturn, SocialJustice and whatever else the kids are naming their poor children now a days to wave around their opinions, thus dooming the kids. But lets focus here people. The guys a joke, and the only thing he's going to get in the Ultimus bowl is a bowl full of his own tears as he sobs about what COULD have been. Be the difference maker you goomba, not the victim.

1) What do you feel is one MAJOR hurdle for the SJS to finally break through in the playoffs?
One major hurdle? Really the only hurdle for us at this point is just getting past those pesky Otters. I firmly believe we have the deepest, most balanced team in the league right now & arguably one of the best teams that's ever been assembled. We even had home field advantage this time & still came up short, so what do we need to do to break through? Your guess is as good as mine because I'm simply dumbfounded.
2) What will be your off season plans for the team? Stand pat, or drip in FA? Trades?
For the most part, we're going to stick with what we've already got because as I've said before, I really think we have a group capable of great things. We might dip into free agency a little bit for some minor upgrades or explore some trade options if offers come our way, but we're not actively looking to break up the core that we've already put together.
3) Are you happy with the progress being made by SJS?
Very much so. All but maybe 1 or 2 guys remain active & committed to our cause, and I can't thank them enough for that. They've all put in a ton or work to make this team one that should be feared for seasons to come & I think we've just scratched the surface of what this team can accomplish as we separate ourselves from the rest of the league.
4) Whats one major thing you'd love to change about the league?
For me, the biggest thing that needs fixing in the league is the salary cap. With the way the cap is currently configured & OL bots being the major investment they are, a full line of the best bots on the market cost almost half of what we're allowed to spend, barring any trades for extra cap space. Now to be fair, most of the real contenders won't buy that last tier of bots in favor of slightly less expensive ones that are still effective, but even at that, the only way to build a competitive team is if everyone agrees to take a minimum contract, maybe even less if you lock someone up early. As a GM, I hate asking guys to take minimum contracts. It makes me feel cheap & I feel like I'm robbing them of the full league experience because not everyone has the time to put into pumping out media pieces. What I'd like to see changed, and has actually been proposed in the past, is either a slight bump in cap space or a normalization of OL bots. What I mean by that is that everyone would get the same level of bots & we wouldn't have to pay for them. Now obviously, we're not expecting to have that much cap space freed up, so the cap would have to be reduced some, but something like $60M isn't unreasonable. Right now, buying a full line of 550 bots costs $22.5M, leaving us with $52.5M to spend on actual user-controlled players. Normalizing bots & dropping the cap to $60M would give us just enough flexibility to not be bound to giving everyone minimum contracts. We're not asking for a lot here, just a little help.
kinda ranted on the last one lol
