Last week's PBE PT
This week's SHL PT
1) It is our time next year
Well we already lost somehow this year despite having a dominant 12-2 regular season where we both scored the most points and gave up the fewest... so that's basically why I think we'll finally manage to bring the trophy to San Jose next season. Our offense has been growing together with Christ behind center, Canton and Orosz splitting RB duties, and the likes of Flash, Oles, and Brannigan catching passes. It's a strong young core that doesn't really even need much if anything to complement it. We also have a formidable CB tandem in Poopsie and Troyski to kick off the defensive side of things, along with legendary names such as Deringer, Pennington, Horne, Pennington, Tuck, and Staley. Plus some scrub DT named Freezer Riposte who doesn't do much of anything out there during games. Anyways throw all of these guys together plus our ace kicker Neo Donaldson and you have a team that everyone should be scared of. I really expect it to all come together this upcoming season as we continue our domination of the regular season and finally put it together in the playoffs. Oh yeah, we also brought in one of the more coveted FA's this offseason in my good friend Footballer Sackerman, who should really show up Riposte this season.
3) Post game of the ASFC conference championship
Ladies and gentlemen, we once again find ourselves with the Otters and the Sabercats going toe to toe in the conference championship matchup. Both teams really struggled to find room to run the ball against some stout defensive fronts, as the Otters were held to just 46 yards on the ground against 92 for the Cats. This game was going to come down to who could perform better through the air, and though Christ did the best he could, giving away a costly interception gave the Otters the chance to push ahead, and they did just that in coming away with a 31-21 victory. Ricky Adams was really impressive for the team's offense, combining for 140 total yards from scrimmage and scoring 2 touchdowns. Freezer Riposte was useless as always for the Sabercats, only managing one tackle and not affecting the game in any meaningful way. Meanwhile some of his Otters friends like Danny Grithead and Thorian Skarsgard managed five tackles each while both sacking Christ as well, really making Riposte feel like an idiot. Also a shoutout to T. Tim on the Otters offensive line; the dude managed to pancake the Sabercats (probably mostly Riposte) 11 freaking times. This was a tough one overall for Sabercats fans out there, especially after the team had a lead early on but blew it as the game went along.
