Written: Write 200 words on your team and either why they should be looked at as Ultimus champions this season, or if your team has been eliminated, next year, or the year after for those non-believers.
The San Antonio Marshals should have been the rightful DSFL ultimini champions this season. The Marshals had the best performing offense as they do every season, and some late season additions at linebacker moved them into place with the best defense in the league. However, as is tradition, the referees at the conference championship did everything they could to give Tijuana the overwhelming edge. Through a mixture of bad spots, bad class, and outright missed penalties, the Luchadores were able to yet again best the Marshals in the conference championship to move onto the ultimini. Now, let us assume this is a perfect world and everyone on the marshals roster was able to stay with the team and move forward with the next season. This is why they would be S14 champions: first they will have stand out QB Cooter Bigsby to lead the charge as a remarkable upgrade over Wozy, and behind him will be presumed MVP Speedy Boija. This power duo would be unstoppable. On the flip side, they would have had future DPoY and maybe the first player to win MVP as a linebacker in Allen Josh. Surely this would have been a team for the ages and one that would have broken the Tijuana curse.
Going to Disneyland!:Who was the Ultimus MVP? Give us a rundown of their celebratory trip to Disneyland. (Can be completed after the Ultimus game)
The ultimus MVP is not a surprise to anyone as it was speed linebacker Mason Brown. Brown was extremely impressive recording 13 tackles, including 2 tackles for loss, a sack (which doesn’t count as a tackle for loss in this game, can somebody please explain to me how a sack which is quite literally tackling the quarterback for a loss does not count as a tackle for loss in the sim?) and 3 pass deflections. This outstanding defensive performance will be one looked at for ages as to why the Orange County otters will be proclaimed victors. On his trip to Disney world, brown made his presence known as he signed babies and kissed autographs to every fan that approached him. He was even featured in the nightly “make a dream come true” performance as he sang a solo from the top of the castle before zip lining into the crowd below. One person in particular that took note of this on field and off field performance was rising star Allen Josh, and the duo was actually photographed together at the wilderness lodge where they are said to have partied and formed a bond. The rumor mill is already swirling saying that Josh may be the next Brown to enter the league. The festivities finally came to an end as Mason Brown toured the world restaurants in Epcot and noted that mission to Mars was his favorite ride saying that if he had not become a football player that he would have become an astronaut.

Written: Write 200 words on one of the players in this year's Ultimus Week that are Season 10 or newer and spotlight on how they can affect this year's Ultimus. (Or have affected)
One player that will definitely make an impact in next season’s ultimini will be stand out linebacker Allen Josh. The young man has already made an impact in this season’s heartbreaking conference championship loss recording 13 tackles with a forced fumble and fumble recover, and he is only slated to get faster, stronger and smarter as he develops. As a red rated player who declared after the trade deadline, he will come out with an edge over his S15 draftmates and will absolutely crush whatever joke lineman is put in front of him in the DSFL. Watch for his team to make and win the ultimini in season 14. He will absolutely be the player to watch for both regular season and post season MVP as well as Devensive player of the year. If I were to make a projection now I could see him making 11 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 tackles for losses, a pass deflection and an interception in next year’s ultimini. I would even say that if he had declared a day sooner, that he would have made an immediate impact at the NSFL level of play. This young man is built for success and any team with the luck to have him on their roster should find themselves in great position to win some hardware.
