As many already know, this offseason has been a difficult one for Andrew Reese. In addition to having to drop 50 lbs. between the end of last season and the preseason, Reese is also switching back to the QB position. It’s a role that he played in college and even the DSFL, but 3 seasons at DT have left him rusty. His throws aren’t connecting the way he hoped they would. He’s always had a keen mind for reading plays, but when you’ve been down in the trenches for several seasons, it’s easy to lose sight of the rest of the field. Ironically, he’s now the one trying to avoid sacks instead of causing them. Still, there’s hope for the season ahead, but it’s going to take a lot of work if he wants to be considered an elite QB.
