Barnes is having himself a bit of a new experience this preseason. For the first time in his life, he's changing teams. He played all his college years at Penn State, and both of his DSFL seasons were in San Antonio with the Marshals and now he's entering S14 as a member of the Liberty after being traded at the start of the offseason. He's spent a lot of this offseason training with his new teammates like Lennox Garnett and KJ Becker, and studying the defensive scheme that Philly runs. He was sometimes called upon to play outside of his normal safety position in Arizona but here in Philly he'll probably be getting looks all over on defense and needs to be mentally ready for those plays.
