I went into draft day pretty dang confident about where and when I would be going off the board. I knew for a fact that the Palm Beach Solar Bears were interested in loading up on tight ends. I also knew and still know that I am one of the best damn prospects out there so I was expecting to go pretty early. The Solar Bears first pick comes up and they select linebacker Rock Hardshaft. Okay, I could see why they would go that direction. Not only is he one of the stronger linebackers in the class, he is also devilishly handsome so there’s not a whole lot I can personally do to complete that. The end of the first round rolls around and I can’t say that I’m not disappointed because I truly viewed myself as a first round talent. Anyway, the Solar Bears second pick comes up and it’s… TIGHT END CHASE JENSEN FROM STANFORD UNIVERSITY! Oh man, was I stoked to get picked. The GMs called me after I got off the stage and told me that they were super excited to have me and that I was going to play an integral part in their offensive scheme. All-in-all, draft day was a ton of fun and I can’t wait until next season to do it all again to see where I end up in the NSFL.
