(S14) - PT 1 - Draft Day

Draft day is recent for my most recent guy, Ricardo Morris. Before that, I had two drafts with my prior player of Darren Morris. Ironically in both the S4 DSFL draft and the recent S14 DSFL draft, 10 seasons apart, my player last named Morris ended up on a team that slm was GMing - the first with the Marshals in S4 and the second with the Seawolves in S14. The experience was very different - from not knowing what was going on and trying to figure things out and dropping a podcast in the hours before the draft, to being much more comfortable and familiar with the league and how the process works the second time around. I had no clue where I'd end up, but considering the quality of the DSFL GMs in the league to get to play for I had no concerns about any of the options. Nonetheless I was thrilled to end up again with slm and to help lead the Seawolves out of the bot-era teams and back into the light of professional development football. Being taken at the top of the third seems like a good spot for Ricardo, all things considered, and I really enjoyed watching the other players taken before and after me. Should a be a fun season in the DLeague.
