(S14) - PT 1 - Draft Day

Talk about a stressful day! I was sitting there in the green room feeling like A-Aron Rodgers for what felt like ages. First round, second round, third round....You get the picture. I knew that I had put in the work. I knew that I had great interviews with the DSFL GMs that I had spoken with. I knew that I was the hardest working linebacker in the draft and that I have all the abilities to be the very best at any level.

Fourth round, fifth round....Ok, now I'm starting to question the intelligence of the people making these decisions. "Are they blind?", "Is it because I'm white?", "Did they not see my collegiate stats?"....All of these were questions that I was asking myself.

Round 6: Pick 1 - Giannis Kroutis - S - AirCrou, Round 6: Pick 2 - Faith Terim - S - Eco, Round 6: Pick 3 - Lightsout Lewis - LB - ECU! #itsaboutdamntime began to trend worldwide and the Pythons had just made the best damn decision of their organization's existence! I was elated to finally be selected, but I was also angry that it took so long! In the end, it has fueled me and it will continue to do so. Because of that lonely day I spent waiting forever, I will be the next Tom Brady of linebackers. "Many men wish death upon me" as the G.O.A.T. would say!
