Alarm clock goes off at 5 o'clock in the morning. Start the day off with some breakfast, can't be hitting the field on an empty stomach! My meals look a little different from a lot of the players in the NSFL and DSFL, since I'm 100% vegan. So instead of bacon, sausage, and eggs, I'm making a big ol' hash with potatoes and peppers, and tossing in onion, mushroom, some tofu of course. And beans. Lots and lots of beans. I eat beans 3, 4, sometimes 5 times a day, freakin' delicious. Anyways, after breakfast I'm down in the film room if it's a home game, or I'm hitting my tablet for a couple hours in the hotel if we're away. It's never too late to get a few more reels in. Usually we have team meetings and activities starting right after lunch, so I head over to where we are getting grub and hang with the team for a bit until it's time to suit up. ATH-M50s go on once we hit the stadium, and it's gritty electro until gametime. My teammates actually joked they were gonna find me one of those old Rock Band drum sets and rig it up next to my locker I'm always drumming to my breaks. Part of it's just getting in the right rhythm, getting timing down; there are some routes I run to the rhythm of certain songs, so getting my playlist on before the game always puts me in the right mindset.
