When I'm prepping for my next game, I am obsessed with research on my opponent. What are the strengths and weakness of the defense that I'm facing? Who could I burn? Who should I avoid? Even little things like what their hobbies are. Things like that are important for proper trash talking. You can surprise someone with some information they aren't expecting and get that one extra step you need to burn them. When you play tight end, you have to focus on all three levels of the defense. You're blocking the D-line, going one on one with the linebackers, and going deep with the secondary, so you have to know your enemy down to the most minute detail. Unfortunately, the last few weeks have been really hard for the Solar Bears. Four losses to start your career does hurt your psyche just a little bit, but you just have to keep putting in the miles. Train harder. Study harder. Know your enemy, and eventually the wins will come. I just need to keep my nose to the grindstone and play my butt off. We're gonna come back, I just know it.
