Lucas Knight likes to keep a simple and effective routine to be ready for a game. It begins with the importance of a good night sleep the day before, so he usually goes to bed around 9:30 pm. Also, it's very significant for him remembering and analyzing all of the strengths and weaknesses of his rivals so he usually watches some film before going to sleep. On the morning, he wakes up at 6:00 am and goes for a quick run to a nearby park or to the hotel's gym when he's on the road. When he returns and after taking a long bath, he likes to eat a bowl of oatmeal, some fruit and 2 slices of toast with a cup of black coffee.
When he's finished with his morning affairs, it's about time to go to the stadium and he likes to arrive there before the team does. He goes straight to the locker room, puts on his warm up clothes and heads out to the field to do some sprints while he waits for the last team meeting to start. After everything's wrapped up, he likes to talk with his team captains and fellow defensive backs to assure them that he's ready to help the team in any way he can; this talk it's important to him because it helps him focus his mind in bringing his best on the field.
