My proposed expansion team would be the Memphis Pharaohs who's logo would be a depiction of an Pharaoh's death mask. I chose Memphis because of its connection to the Egyptian city because I thought the Pharaoh branding would be good. Memphis would also be a realistic option for a football team population wise having over 650,000 people, only slightly lower than Nashville which is home to the Titans. Its location would also be good from a geographical standpoint. Its relatively central location wouldn't add any grueling travel times and its International airport is well equipped to handle flights in and out in a timely manner. Memphis has tried many times for its own football team. It had Titans for a year after moving from Houston, a WFL team (Southmen), a USFL team (Showboats), a CFL team (Mad Dogs), and an XFL team (Maniax). The desire for a Football team is there and adding a NSFL team there would draw a good amount of support. They would play in Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium which has a seating capacity of 58,318 but has room for additional seating if needed (it's capacity used to be almost 63,000). The team colors would be black and gold for the black silt deposited by the Nile floods and the gold used by royalty.
