2) Underdog
Tijuana shouldn’t be considered the underdogs going into this game, but Portland does boast the better record, and have home field advantage for the upcoming Ultimini. They also have some very talented players on both sides of the ball. But I reckon they’re still going to lose this game. Tijuana’s a group of real good guys, and we’re ready to band together like we never have before. Everyone on this team wants to win this Championship, it would mean so much for our season and this great organisation. As for home field advantage, the Marshall’s had that last week, and it didn’t help them much. I think people might’ve underestimated us, and guys have said that they’re not gonna underestimate us this week ‘cause of that, but I don’t know. Coach says we got some secrit plays up our sleeves and those snakes on the other side of the ball won’t see them comin’. Leadin’ into last week we did a lot of work on run blockin’ schemes and stuff, and it paid off. We had a plan that worked, and we’re ready with an even better plan for the Ultimini. The one thing I gotta say is that no one should be sleepin’ on the Luchadores.
4) Head to Head Matchups
I’m gonna talk about two real talented people here, the first is the top TPE earner in the class, Emondov Emoji, the other is one of my teammates and a real nice guy, Rod Tidwell. Neither of them has really been the focus of their units, Emoji has been eclipsed by that amazin’ linebacker corps, and Tijuana has steadily shifted to a more run heavy offense. While Corvo Havran has had two big receiving options in Carlomango Rey and Tidwell, the clear number one has been Tidwell all season. ‘Cause of this, one of the best cornerbacks in the league is gonna be tryin’ to cover him like a blanket all game long. They may end up a little isolated if Portland stacks the box tryin’ to stop our runnin’ game as well. Emoji has been a force this season, with 14 passes defenced behind only Vander Jones and Willie Green in the league. Tidwell has also been very impressive, with the second most receiving yards in the league. I’ll admit I’m biased here, but I think Rod will still be able to put up an impressive showing, he’s been consistent all year, but he will have to be more creative than normal going up against someone so talented.

13) That Magic Moment
Now, I really don’t like bein’ selfish or braggin’ too much, but it’s real tough to see the option to write about a magic moment and not talk about what I did in the SFC Championship. I want more than anything to help my team out, and when it’s a big game, everything matters a heck of a lot more. That’s why whenever we’re in a big game, I work that much harder. In this game’s case, I ran that much faster. We were on the front foot for most of the game really, but we knew we were gonna win when I ran in that 96-yard touchdown. I’d gotten a little bit faster between games, and I reckon that’s what really did the Marshall’s in on that run. It’s strange playin’ teams in back to back weeks, and they completely stifled me in the last game of the season. That extra step I got before that last game threw them off ‘cause they thought they knew where I was gonna be an when. Once my best good friends on the offensive line made their key blocks, I just had to keep on runnin’ past a few guys, and then remember to stop once I got in the end zone.
