The Arizona Outlaws overnight became the Cali Crusaders. In a shocking move, owner and GM decided to give everything to starting strong safety, Martavius Mack. Mack was quoted as saying, "You know sometimes things like this in life happen! I definitely didn't win the team in an illegal gambling operation run by the owners of the NSFL." The first thing Mack did was implement a new defense; 10 d-line and 1 safety (himself) out there playing 3 fly's up. Mack was then quoted as saying, "Kickers, quarterbacks, we dont need those, what I need is a bigger paycheck." Mack then suited himself up as a kicker and a QB. Things were not all sunshine and rainbows for Mack, he was actually a terrible kicker, and statistically the worlds worst QB (Behind Ryan Leaf). It is believed that Mack and the Crusaders will not last long in California due to the debt they have already occurred. "I took the team to California on a whim, but apparently whims don't pay bills." Only one season after the move, less then 9 months, the Crusaders are out of the NSFL and Martavius is currently looking for work. Mack has found work recently on a cruise ship where he is swabbing the deck.. wondering what could have been if he had just listened to his GM.
