I honestly don't know what I would do if I found myself the sole GM of the New Orleans Second Line. It's a lot of power for one person to have, and that makes it easy to make serious, franchise-ruining mistakes. I'd be terrified at the prospect of messing up the team that Juosu has worked so hard to build. So, instead of changing the team as it is now (which, in my honest opinion, doesn't need changing), I'd look to improve the team's future.
The Season 15 NSFL draft class was incredible, but it wasn't the end all be all of drafts. This season's draft prospects are just as talented, even if there aren't nearly as many. I'd spend my day as GM contacting prospects and introducing myself to them. I'd want to get a feel for the kind of locker room presence these players are, and how they might fit into the culture being built in New Orleans. Admittedly, New Orleans' performance this season has been disappointing, but I'd want to see which rookies wouldn't mind (or would be excited to) joining the team after a rough season and helping to turn things around.
Speaking of the Second Line's poor showing this season, it's looking likely that the team will receive a high draft pick (#1 and #2 are already off the table, unfortunately). And as I said earlier, this draft class has a lot of talent, both new and old. I'd probably contact some NSFL GMs and try to get a sense as to what they'd be willing to give up in exchange for that draft pick. I probably wouldn't pull the trigger on any deals, but if I found an opportunity to improve our already great team, I would not hesitate to take it.
