Contingency plan 1069B: In the event that all of the GMs of a team are physically incapable of performing their duties and unable to choose an individual to replace them OR if I am put in charge. I will seize power over the organization and implement multiple changes.
Step 1. Declare myself to be emperor of the franchise who has absolute power and will serve until I decide otherwise and fire all non essential employees who may challenge me for power.
Step 2. Move the team to Memphis, Tennessee and re-brand to be the Memphis Pharoahs and buy the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid to serve as the new team facility.
Step 3. Restructure my contract to be 30/30/35/35/40 million for 5 years.
Step 4. Figure out the current state of the roster.
If the roster can win now, release/trade all non-starters to make room for signing established talent to fill any holes on the roster.
If the roster needs a lot more talent, trade away all non-essential players for draft picks and focus on creating a dominant defense led by the secondary and a competent run game with a quarterback that takes care of the ball. Sign inactive offensive players to a minimum contract if needed to save salary cap room.
