1) Playoff Review of Palm Beach vs Tijuana. So much happened in this game that it is hard to digest everything. Having gone through what Tijuana experienced last year, I both understand their emotions pertaining to this loss, but I also am very excited that the shoe is now on someone elses foot. San Antonio's loss last year was devastating, but it had happened the year before as well. Regular season champions loosing to Tijuana. This year was not going to be the case. San Antonio wasn't even in the playoffs. It was all Tijuana and their wall. What could go wrong, except that everything went wrong for them. Palm Beach I think made a even more impressive upset than Tijuana did either season to San Antonio, because Palm Beach did it with their defense intercepting the heir to the Baltimore throne Corvo Havran 5 time! It wasn't like Palm Beach had a great offense, they only completed 6 passes, and Tijuana held them scorless for the second quarter. Simply the Solar Bears came out with way too many wrinkles added to their defense, that Tijuana's offense couldn't compete and over come their mistakes. Congrats to the Solar Bears, maybe they have several more wrinkles they can throw at Portland to win the Unlitmini.
5/14/16 Combo) Let us talk about that Ultimus victory. Baltimore won a blow out over San Jose, to the tune of forty-nine to zero. For most of the game Baltimore’s front seven controlled San Jose and create a lot of three and out or very short drives that quickly resulted in punts. They did such a fabulous job that their young safety Walt Green recorded only three tackles. That said one of those tackles helped keep momentum firmly on Baltimore’s side early in the game. The moment was Green’s first tackle of the game, just at the end of the first quarter. Joliet Christ threw a 40 yard pass to Flash, a play that Flash was able to fly by the cornerback down the sideline leaving Green as the last defender and forcing him to make an open field tackle. Green caught up to Flash and tackled him at Baltimore’s 38 where the defense buckled down and got a sack forcing a punt. If Green had not been able to catch Flash, or had been a tad slower tackling Flash closer to the end zone, San Jose would have scored. That was by far one of the toughest moments of Walt Greens career, racing down field to stop a potential score in the Ultimus, pushing himself harder and harder to catch up to one of the league’s best wide receivers. Who knows how the outcome would have been had San Jose been able to score on that play to make it 7-14 at the end of the first quarter.

Describe all of your emotions from joining Palm Beach to winning the Ultimini?
Coming in as a rookie from Montana State Griz I was about as green as they come. I met PDX and we instantly clicked as we both train jiu-jitsu. Luckily he picked me up off waivers and learned me up. Best GM in the league imho but hey he’s all I know. It was a great learning experience and over the season I’ve come to learn how to a pro in the dsfl/nsfl. Next season I’ll now hit it with full force and hopefully become a force in the DE position for whomever drafts me. So coming in as a true rookie I experienced fear as I didn’t know how it all works. Going through the season I gained a lot of confidence learning from an all star cast. Special thanks to PDX and Guy Nikko for all of their guidance.
Do you have any NSFL teams you hope to be draft to?
Not really. Whomever i play for I look forward to dedicating myself to helping that team win a championship. I’m happy I got a full season to prep a bit before going into the big leagues. There is no team I won’t give it my all for. I hope to one day be a premier DE in the NSFL.
What is your favorite beach in Florida and why?
When I’m not training I love to head down to Destin FL and get my beach and jiu-jitsu on. I’ve had more fun in Destin than some cough other establishments.
Who did you not enjoy tackling and why?
Of all the people I played I played all season long, I think Forrest Gump. That man can run. I mean when he starts he just doesn't stop. You may not know but he used to run cross country. In games that translates to he just doesn't get tired. He's like the energizer bunny he just keeps going and going and going. Yes he hits hard but it's more the fact that at the end of the game when we're tired he's not. That's how he shreds defenses as a RB.
