#5 Futures
Spencer Castle of the San Jose SaberCats has a bright future but is also poised to make an impact this week against Orange County. Spencer joined during the 13th Season but already has a large impact on the team's success. As one of the top corners on the team Castle is tasked with covering some of the top receivers in the league. Although the interceptions weren't there Castle was able to impact the game in other ways such as his 62 tackles and 25 pass defenses. Spencer Castle's game changing speed also is something to consider as he is regarded as one of the fastest players in the game, which helps in preventing the big plays that can destroy a team. The high intelligence of Castle will also play a role because Castle seems to end up in the right place on most plays, which can only help a teams chances at success. My prediction for Spencer Castle in this matchup would be 0 interceptions, 5 pass defenses, 5 tackles. Although these stats don't jump off the page it is still a solid stat line for one of the up and coming players in this league to prove his worth and talent on the big stage. Lastly, my prediction for this game is for the SaberCats to win this game 31-14 (223)

#1 Playoff Prediction
Palm Beach vs Tijuana
The Tijuana Luchador's had the best regular season in the DSFL and it was no fluke. Their best overall players is at the Quarterback position, which is arguably the most important, and his overall comes in at a 81ovr. Their Quarterback Havran also lead the league in passing by a considerable margin. Forrest Gump running the ball also is poised to make a large impact. On the defensive side of the ball the Luchador's are home to the sack leader Slothface who has 13.
Palm Bay on the other hand come in with a 7-6-1 record. Their best player is at the Tightend position, which is Jensen at a 80 overall. Their Quarterback Cole was middle of the pack and not that far off stat wise from Havran but the defensive talent on the Luchador's will pose as a problem. From a statistical perspective there is no true defensive stand out on this team so it will take a complete team effort to shut down this Luchador team.
Special teams can also play a role within this game and i have to give the edge to the Palm Beach on the kicking and return aspects of their game. Their kicker has been lights out so far this season and their returner near the top of the league average.
My prediction for this game is Tijuana Luchador's 38-27

#16 Unsung Hero
Palm Beach vs Luchador's (34-23 PB)
Although punters and kickers don't stand out on the stat sheet compared to their offensive and defensive contemporaries they are still equally important to the success of a team and the unsung hero for Palm Beach's victory was punter/kicker R. Castleberry. The offense of Palm Beach was struggling all game with no real standouts and little yards such as their QB only have 60 yards throughout the game, which led to Castleberry stepping up with the clutch leg. Castleberry was four for four on extra points and two for two on field goals, one of which that was from deep. On the punting side Castleberry had seven punts of which went for three hundred and twenty-six with a long of fifty nine and one inside the twenty. These punts were vital to flipping the field on the Luchador's as he averaged fourty seven yards per punt and to compensate for the poor offensive play of Palm Beach. The Luchador's had a potent offense this game but were often forced to drive the field due to these punts. Although punters and kickers often are after thoughts and scape goats it is important to recognize Castleberry step up and surpass his season average of 45.7 yards per punt and continued on his season long hot streak of kicking. Lastly, we must remember that punters (and kickers) are people too
