This off-season had a completely different feel from the last one where Joliet Christ was fresh off a win in San Jose's first ever Ultimus Championship ever! There was partying and celebrating at parades, clubs, local hot spots and even Disney World. Now, this off-season is more about what could have been and no celebrations going on. Sure, winning the ASFC over the Otters always feels nice but that is not the ultimate prize in the NSFL, an Ultimus is. While Christ reflects on what needs to be done in order to win the big game again, the motivation is still there, the desire to be a multi Ultimus winning quarterback is an exciting thought and something still in reach. Sure, the team took some hits in expansion but it is still extremely strong and unique. Look for Christ and the Cats to work hard this off-season and come back for another Ultimus run.
