Dick Wizardry sold his house in Yellowknife, packed up his stuff and had it driven cross continent to Austin, Texas within an hour of getting the phone call from Charlie Law. After taking a moment to drop a word for teammate Sandip Bakshi, Dick himself took some time off and went to Hawaii just to relax after his long and fruitless year. Then, after two weeks of enjoying himself, Dick landed in Austin and went straight to the stadium, where he met the management team and got to work. Given the reputations of Law and Crush, Dick signed an extension before the draft even started, seeing their vision for the team and their belief in how players should be treated. The morning of the draft Dick closed on his new house and land, a little 4 acre property that would give him room for all sorts of fun things.
