Octavius Godspeed starting running back for the Kansas City Coyotes has said in many interviews during his college days at UNC that he wanted to model his running style after multiple great running backs. " I have always wanted to be diverse." said Godspeed after the first game of the season, " Barry Sanders, Le'veon Bell, Adrian Peterson, Emitt Smith I mean the list could go on if I told you all the people I wanted to be like there are so many greats. If I'm honest though Ive always been a panthers fan so De'angelo Williams and Stephen Davis are probably the biggest 2. Mainly because I grew up watching them they were my favorite team so my favorite players by default. I remember playing madden as a kid and always drafting those 2 guys for my backfield power up the middle with Davis and swift and quick around the corners with De'angelo. I knew from watching them that if I had those 2 things and take them to another level I could be the best running back to ever lace up a pair of cleats. I knew I could always get stronger over time , but that also meant that the main challenge would come with trying to get faster. Those 2 guys definitely sparked my work ethic and drive to be the best that's what you see on the field with me.
