Although most people like to party during college Saba Donut wasn’t that type of person. Instead of partying like all his teammates(excluding his brother Ducky Donut) he was in the gym lifting weights, on the treadmill, doing whatever he could do to improve his game. Evidently, it paid off. During his freshman season he made his mark on the team immediately as he was their leading receiver. He finished the season with 48 catches for 837 yards and 7 touchdowns. He ended it on a positive not as he and the Ducks beat Michigan in the 2028 Chuck E. Cheese Bowl. In his sophomore season he stepped it up and made the All-American team and he was a semifinalist for the Fred Biletnikoff Award. He again was Oregon’s leading receiver with 54 catches, 888 yards, and 6 touchdowns. However, his best season was yet to come. In his junior year(final year) he was one of the best receivers in the country perhaps the best. Not only did he help his team win the Rose Bowl against the Iowa Hawkeyes, he also was a unanimous All-American, was tenth in heisman voting, and won the Fred Biletnikoff Award. Also, he set an Oregon school record for most receiving yards in a season with 1202 yards. Once he announced that he would be entering the DSFL draft it was announced that he also set the school record for receiving yards in a career with 2927 yards and tied the receptions record with 178 receptions. Overall, I will always love looking back to my college days.
