Literally how are people mad about this??? It's pretty clear in the rule book

All TPE earned must be put in your update thread before regression and signing new contracts or extensions. This TPE will count towards regression and your contract tier. Any TPE not put in your update thread at those times will be considered void

Like you can't just store up TPE to sign a new contract and circumvent the cap, it's obvious and literally every league would stop that in it's tracks

You can store up TPE over time, just don't sign a new contract/regress and then claim it all
