Ashley Owens is already an incredibly versatile player. Just two weeks ago, in a massive victory against the Palm Beach Solar Bears, Owens got 109 rushing yards on 22 carries and 67 receiving yards on 5 receptions. In fact, on the season, he’s got 300 yards receiving and 1100 rushing. However, have you heard of a certain running back dominating the NFL named Christian McCaffrey? In one game, he threw a 50 yard touchdown pass. So, Even though trading places with a wide receiver makes much more sense as Owens is an amazing receiving back, a true dual threat player, im gonna discuss the prospect of Ashley switching places with San Antonio Marshals quarterback Jim McMahon. Owens has pretty minimal passing stats, but that’s okay, cause so does McMahon! Owens would definitely be a mobile QB so he’d certainly run a lot more than the current San Antonio QB, though he might throw more interceptions. But this is the DSFL so I still think it could work! As for Jim playing running back and receiver... it might not go so well. With 40 speed and 15 hands things would be not great. But hey, Marshals are pretty much guaranteed second in their division this season. Might as well try it, eh GMs?
