1) Here is my prediction for the championship game, and it is pretty bold. The Arizona Outlaws defeat the Philadelphia Liberty and win the Ultimus. I know nobody thinks its that bold, but I firmly believe that it is bold because right now the Liberty are in the midst of a very rare task. They have won two road games in a row against two very good teams to end up in the position that they are now in. It is an impressive feat and even though I don't usually pay attention to what happens, I haven't ever seen this happen before. Good thing we let so many teams make the playoffs. I believe the Outlaws will win because of our stout defense. We have arguably the best linebacker in the league in Raymond Vans and I am right there beside him to clean up any mess that he can't. We just held the incredible Orange County Otters' offense to three point in the conference championship. This will bode well for us going into the championship game. Our offense was also able to put up 31 point on their defense as well so I feel confident that we will keep rolling and do our thing. Or maybe not lol.
3) QB matchup ok here is the thing there is only one game left and I have to choose between Falconi and Reese. I wanted to say that Reese was the better quarterback, but right now it is Falconi. I'm not proud to say that and it hurts, but you also have to look at what each quarterback is going against when it comes to this championship game. I believe that Reese will be facing a worse defense than Falconi will. I believe the Arizona Outlaws' defense is much better than the Philadelphia Liberty's defense. I also think Reese has younger weapons which leads to him having to bear a bit more of the load for the Outlaws, but they have been stepping up recently which has allowed his play to skyrocket. I think that Reese has the advantage because of this and the fact that Brock Landers is just a bonafide beast. I honestly don't pay attention that much during the season so I don't know if he's even played well, bu I assume that he is hte best receiver on the team and ready to will the team to a win. I don't see anybody that can stop the Outlaws so I will say that Reese will be the better QB.
5) For the S15 class I will talk about my friend and my teammate Brock Landers. I don't care what anybody says about the pick or how it should've been used on another player, Landers has turned into a bonafide superstar on the outside. He just had a season where he surpassed 1000 yards and don't forget that it was only his second season. He was also able to frequently able to find the endzone for the outlaws. Everything about this guy screams superstar and clutch performance coming. Being in the locker room with him, I am able to see how much he cares about our team being in prime position to win and him grinding his butt off to get us there. I'm pretty ure we took Landers number one overall, which appears to have been an incredible move for the franchise. He has since moved into a leadership role on the team while continuing to perform at a high level on the field. I knew he would be good, but I didn't really expect him to be this good this quickly. He has done an extraordinary job of getting the team rallied and his draft class to keep on updating. I think he will heavily impact the championship game.
6) Here is why it is our time, we have already made it this far. We have one game left and it is against the Philadelphia Liberty and I believe that we are going to win that game. We have had a very special season after being in the absolute gutter as of two seasons ago. We had some pieces taken from us in the expansion draft. I didn't think this would be our season even as recently as the beginning of the post season, but I do know that we have some type of chance based on what we have done so far. I am very pleased with our perforamnce. We have had some really oddly good performances this season. Second season WR Brock Landers had an incredible season. Raymond Vans kind of came out of nowhere and absolute balled out. We are a really good team that are in the playoffs and making big plays at the right time. I just think it is not a coincidence that we have gone on a run like this with the type of performances we have had. Maybe I'm a dreamer or maybe we will win. But I think we will be the champs.
