This would definitely be an interesting situation. I'm not really sure that I would ever want to be in a situation like this. If I ever wanted out of my team, I would most likely just personally request a trade from my GM. The only reason I would try to force myself out of my team would be if I'm in a terrible situation as an individual player, and my GM refused to trade or release me. In the end, if I really wanted out, I'm sure my GM would understand where I'm coming from and would try his best to find a team to trade me to. If I had to, I would definitely prefer to try to force myself into getting traded over getting released for two reasons. First, it would allow me to see my value around the league if I got to see what other teams were offering for me. Also, I would want my team, the Otters, to actually get something out of me, instead of me just being a wasted draft pick. The way I would do this would probably be to publicly state that I wanted to be traded, and if I had to contact other teams myself, and I would stop applying training points until I was traded to a new team.
