The time has finally come. Since he got into the game and got drafted to the Arizona Outlaws after 1 DSFL season, Jay Cue has warned everyone on the NSFL that every team should do their best to try and win the Ultimus.. And you want to know why? Because starting next season, Cue will be the starting QB for the Outlaws, which means that for at least 5 or 6 seasons, every Ultimus will be coming back home to Arizona. Old Man Geezer Reese did pretty good on his time with the team, but now it is time for ShowCue to dominate the NSFL. Some of you might think that its tanking time in the desert, but it it exactly the opposite. The draft will be used to reinforce some positions with up and coming rookies, to join them with the competent and young core of the team, so winning will be the main word for seasons to come.
I have no idea on the next drafts, but other teams should start investigating that to see if there is some gem to tank for. Imagine thinking that anyone will be able to compete with the Outlaws... You know better than that. Talk it out on your War Rooms and change strategy. You have been warned.

The Arizona Outlaws are now on a interesting dilemma. Even though they are losing star QB Andrew Reese to retirement and probably some other players that might think the team does not have what it takes to be Ultimus Champion anymore, the future can only be considered as bright. Young players already with NSFL experience, like Saba Donut and Ruff Ruff on the offense, will be getting a new mobile QB, as Jay Cue finally is called up to the big leagues. Yes, Jay might struggle early on as he is still getting much needed TPE, but the locker room is buzzing with excitement for the new season. Having missed the playoffs for the first time in a while, the Outlaws are looking for active players that want to join the team and help them reach the top. If you are unhappy on your team, or just looking for some new ideas and an active team, if you feel you can bring your A game to the field and fight for Ultimus wins, this is definitely the place to be. Every position is needed if you are a good LR presence. Money is important, but it is not everything, considering the respect and winning mentality you will get for playing in Arizona.

After a long and successful stint as commish, Dwyer leaves the league in a great place. But, as i am sure everyone, including Dwyer, knows, there is always somethings that can be made to help users and to improve their game experience.
One of the things that I can suggest is that player update threads need to be altered to a layout identical to every user. This would help new users, as they would not need to figure out the best way to do it and more importantly it would help updaters with their job, as it would make it easier for them to identify possible errors.
Other thing I would do is start some kind of poll to change the league name. It has been talked before, but we know that NSFL is not the best acronym to advertise the game and bring new players in. Some suggestions were already left on a post a few weeks back, but i feel this is really important to revisit and finally do something about it. I do understand that this is more than just a name change, as new logos would be needed, a hosting site change as well with all the work that brings, but i can stress enough how big of an improvement this would be.

It is not a secret that Jay Cue has had so far a career that is pretty similar to the one of Franklin Armstrong Jr.. They both started 3 seasons for the Portland Pythons as a mobile QB, with Jay replacing Franklin when he was called to the NSFL, both managing to bring silverware home, while having MVP seasons at the same time. They are now also the joint record holders for most TD passes in a regular season, with 22, with Cue having 2 seasons with that record.
As we all know, Armstrong has been incredible in the NSFL for the Orange County Otters. Great regular seasons, Ultimus wins, Ultimus MVP awards, i mean, you name it, he has done it. But Cue also has his sights on these accomplishments, and now that he is finally going up to play for the Outlaws, opposing teams will now have to worry about stopping 2 very identical QBs. And we all know that stopping the Otters has not been easy or at all possible, so you better double that with the Outlaws. Run your sims, get your percentages up and pray that these 2 QBs have bad seasons.
With Franklin reaching his best years and Cue just starting his career, we will see who gets the most records.
