2) Holiday Bowl
Written: This year’s Ultimus lands right in holiday season. What changes are made to this year’s Ultimus game to reflect the time of year?
Wow there are so many things we can do to change the Ultimus game to make it more appropriate for the holiday season. The first thing I would do is change the referee uniforms. I mean refs look great and all dressed like zebras but come on who wants to see zebras around christmas time thats not what you want, what you want is some holiday magic maybe something like all the refs dressed like santa. How great would that be to see every single ref wearing a giant red jump suit and seeing the refs in their red hats with the white balls on the end and then obviously they would all have to grow big white beards. THAT would certainly increase viewership and make everyone want to watch.
another thing you could do is force change every team who makes the ultimus and ultimini to have christmas related names. The minnesota roasted geese and the tijuana reindeer and all of that would be absolutely incredible and who would not want to see that for the christmas time of year. All of that would make the children watch and everyone would find it entertaining and everyone would want to see it and be a part of it. 208
7) Penalty Box
Written: Football is now adding a penalty box! Which of your teammates would find themselves in it most often, and for what reasons?
Wow if the football field in the DDSPF 16 added a penalty box it would certainly be fun to see who would wind up in there. Starting in the NSFL even though I am not yet on that team it is pretty obvious that Thudd Kassell would wind up in there because HO would find he did something wrong even though he didn't and punish him and force him to leave the site - so Thudd would definitely wind up in the box all the damn time even if he did nothing wrong. The whole liberty would rally around him though as we always do but I can definitely see the head office putting him in the box all the time.
In the DSFL the obvious answer would be all of our offensive line man since the game and the league does not give them any of the fair rubs they should get it is obvious that the league would put the whole team in the penalty box all of the time and it is not fair and it is making me glad that there is no such thing as the penalty box because then no one would be around to block for Avon and Avon would get destroyed all the time. 212
6) Recruitment
Written: Recruitment is coming up, and you’re in charge of a bot team. How are you building a lasting contender?
I love this question because it something that I did when we had our first r NFL class. I was given the task of finding an s15 co GM and figuring out the way to make a dominant team. The person I chose was of course scorp x cracker and me and scorp worked very well together. It was very fun to work together and we wound up building a great group of people. I made some mistakes that I would fix - but over all there was a clear strategy that whoever does the s22 teams should follow. The first of that is to go with activity over any kind of position. The positions don't matter as much as just trying to get a ton of actives and just trying to get a lot of people who care about the site and care about the LR and care about the league and want to remain heavily involved. It will help build your LR like it did with ours and then it will help immensely in the future. That is the way to go and that is what I did and it is what I would do in the future for sure and its a smart way to build a team and a culture and a locker room and people should be smart about it. 225
8) Scouting Report
Written: Write a scouting report for one of the incoming draftees in either the NSFL or DSFL.
The player I want to write a scouting report about is the number 1 target on my team the incredible guy Randy Vuxta. Lets talk about out of character first and the leader ship he shows off the field. He is one of the absolute gems of the Tijuana locker room - a true stud of a guy and a guy who is a captain in his leadership and ability on the field and a leader in the discord. He's always got such a positive attitude and it is clear to anyone that this kid is going to be a top half of the first round pick and possibly go 1st or 2nd over all (I saw him ranked number 2 by someone recently and I think that is an incredibly fair ranking) and I think any team that gets him would be absolutely thrilled at the prospect of doing so.
On the field Vuxta is an animal - he has become the favorite target of Avon catching many touchdowns and having 9 in this rookie season including the playoffs where he had a huge game against Myrtle beach and helped lead Tijuana to a W going for over 100 yards along side his TD to help Avon and the lucha lucha win the game. 215
