1. Okay so here is my prediction of the final game in the DSFL this season. The Minnesota Grey Ducks are playing some other team who does not matter. The Grey Ducks are looking to re claim the title this season after winning it last season on a last minute FG by the great Banana Man Silver Banana. This season the game might be no where near as close as it was in the past. This game will be dominated by kickers as any good playoff game would be whats going to happen this season is that the challengers in the title game will win the toss and immediately begin the game with an onside kick. What will insue afte this is the greatest kicking game ever as the challengers will continue to march into FG range and kick for 3 on 1st down each time, and then recover an onside kick right after. This will have them up 15-0 at the half, and the Grey Ducks will not have touched the ball. In response to this, the Greyducks will start the 2nd half with an onside kick and repete the same process tying the game up at 15 with one final drive. Here Banana will complete the kicking comeback and win the game for the Greyducks 18-15.
4. My greatest rival is probably my teammate Thor Kirkby, you know one of those guys who thinks he is holier than God and can not be touched by anyone in the league. Yes he is a Linebacker and I am a kicker, but this does not lessen the rivalry that we have. Maybe he is afraid of my great performances in seasons past where I put up huge kicking numbers while he struggled to even make the team since he sucks. Or maybe is it him being jealous of me being carried off the field after hitting the game winning kick last season. Either way the dude never liked me and its shocking that we have been on, and will continue to be on the same team moving forward since we both are likely moving up to be Yeti next season. I am willing to carry his ass for the rest of my career, but let us all know, I deserve bigger rings than he does. Dude is a glorified bench warmer so comparing him to me is outrageous. I don’t think I will be able to play with his dumb ass for the rest of my career, maybe I demand COL trades him in the near future.
5. Okay so moving forward if I were to be the GM of my DSFL team I think my first priority would be getting a new kicker. Its going to be a large step going from the elite kicker in Banana to a rookie but this is a step that must be taken, so that Botty mc bot bot isn’t kicking for the team next season and likely leaving the Grey Ducks leaving lots of points on the board. The next step is replacing Waldo, the QB for the team who will not be playing for then next season as well. This will be a big replacement since this dude was an elite qb and the new GM in town will be asked to fill a big open hole in the offense. Third large hole to fill is at LB. Need to replace Kirkby somehow, and this has been a problem for the last few seasons and no GM has decided to do this. LB is a position of huge importance and the Greyducks have been stuck with a shitbag LB at that slot for two seasons now. This is of greatest importance whether or not Kirkby plays in MN or in COL next season since he is an awful LB.
6. Okay so expansion is something I love to talk about. Lets start with location and finding a good home for an NSFL team with a good logo. First off the league needs a team in an underrepresented area in sports. We are a diverse league and our team locations should reflect this. I propose we put the team in Moosejaw as this would say we are serious about getting Canadians into the league long term. Since Canada is cold we need a logo to try and get people into the stadium so lets try and make it enticing to people who know nothing about Moosejaw, we are going to go with the Moosejaw Sunbears to help get people into the stadium who think it might actually be warm in Moosejaw. Next for team building we need to prioritize the kicking game. Having a team with 5-50 kickers will be the goal. This will allow for unique formations where the opposition will not know where the ball is going on kickoffs and or punts. Also we will likely miss fewer kicks since we all know kickers only miss due to bad holds and with a kicker holding we are much more likely to succeed. This is how I would build my team.
