3) Revenge -> http://nsfl.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=...ndpost&p=260804
Hi, I'm Devaunte Sackpieder. You may not know my name yet, but that's okay. You will soon. I'm a S22 Rookie, so you'll hopefully see me as a starter on a DSFL team. However, last season I was a waiver addition for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers
. As I'm sure you're aware, Myrtle Beach went to the Ultimini, and unfortunately lost in crushing fashion to the Minnesota Gray Ducks
. This coming season I anticipate being drafted to a DSFL team, and I fully intend on getting revenge on those quacks for how they ended my season. Along with that, I fully intend on helping to take my team to the Ultimini, and finishing what I couldn't last year. Even now, just thinking about the failure of last year and how I feel I could've done more lights a fire within me. And this season, I plan on burning the rest of this league down with my play. I don't plan on letting any of my opponents get in my way. I want to thank my former teammates on Myrtle Beach for showing me how to get to the Ultimini, and I plan on taking what I've learned from them and helping take my team there next year. This year, is my year.

As a new player to NSFL and DSFL, I don't really have any strong connections with many players. Of course, I have my son and the person who introduced me to the NSFL and DSFL in Rapid Eagle, whom I have a soft spot for. I'm also very familiar with Jeffrey LaVert, as he is also my son and a friend I've known since MLR, 2k Sim, and HangTime. There are also 2 players who have recently joined that I know quite well in Ed Ball and Walter White. I say all this in order to explain that I will not be choosing one of these players to write about, as I feel that would be too easy. Instead, I'm writing about fellow DSFL prospect Denarius Krackle. He is was born in a small island country of Micronesia, and has overcome many obstacles to get to this point in his life. I respect his grind, not even letting sleep get in the way of his pursuit of his dream of reaching NSFL stardom. There is not a player in either league right now that I'd be more honored to play alongside right now.
12) Interview a Star
Devaunte Sackpieder interview with RapidEagle
Devaunte: Question 1. What’s your initial reaction to the Ultimini game, and ultimately your team’s inability to close out the season?
Rapid: It was a shock for sure, dissapointing even. I know we are a better team than that. We needed to be more disciplined, it's hard to win a game where you have almost five times as many penalty yards. I needed to be better as well, 1 tackle in a championship game isn't what I'm made of.
Devaunte: Question 2. You were 2nd in the league in sacks this year, as a rookie no less. If you could leave any words of wisdom to the incoming DSFL prospects about what it takes to make yourself known, what would they be?
Rapid: My number one piece of advice is to keep up with your weekly tasks and don't be afraid to ask for help on your builds. I know I wasted a few TPE early on but if your looking for sacks strength and speed are valuable.
Devaunte: Question 3. Do you have any final words to your DSFL team, as you’ll be entering the NSFL draft?
Rapid: I want to thank Kacey Dream and Dax Frost for taking a chance on me in the DSFL draft, it was a record breaking season that ended just short. If I end up in the NSFL next season I'll definitely miss my rum guzzling mates. If I'm sent back down to DSFL I'll do everything in my power to lead us back to the Ultimini.
Devaunte: Question 4. Do you have a preferred NSFL team to be drafted to? Whether you grew up a fan, close to your family, or you just really like their uniforms, any particular favorite?
Rapid: I've had talks with just about every NSFL's teams GMs during the predraft process. While playing in my hometown Philly would be cool I can't say I have a favorite landing spot. I'd be glad to play for just about any of these teams.
