I mean I think Bex made the most damning point, he wanted it done ASAP, rather than tell him to retire after the season, and that they wanted to claim him off waivers. That's more than just trying to bring someone back from IA. Could have said you can position change for free from OL, could have just said to come back and let Gabe decide on his own. Telling someone to retire, and to do it as soon as possible so that you can claim them off waivers is a lot more than just trying to bring someone back to the league.

It was after the end of Norfolk's season. It was two days after Myrtle Beach defeated Norfolk in the playoffs. Gabe's IA player was on Norfolk's roster for their final game of the season.

And Gabe's player was claimed off waivers by KC, not Myrtle Beach.

The fact is, if the goal was to get the player active again, he would’ve asked him to comeback and play the player he already had. The goal was to secure another active user for his team, but that user already had a player on another team. That’s why he’s being punished.
