Even though it's only his second season in the big league, this go around feels like it has a lot of meaning for Jamie Nkiah in terms of his overall career trajectory. Last season saw him post strong numbers and earn a nomination for DROTY, but ultimately Jamie fell short in achieving any serious recognition in terms of formal awards or recognition. This season he finds himself away from the desert and on Florida's west coast playing for the Sarasota Sailfish. The Sailfish are going to be one of the worst teams in the league so Jamie's desire to go out and win rings isn't going to be met his season, but it could mean that this may be the season in which we see some sort of breakout from him that enables him to become considered as one of the better safeties in the NSFL. The easiest goal to quantify for this season at this spot is a selection to the Pro Bowl and a nomination for DBOTY. If Jamie can achieve these it will prove his level of talent and ability as being among the best in the league With this being a contract year and Jamie entering the season without an agreement signed, it gives him an added motivation to excel this season and put up some great numbers.
