It's hard to set lofty goals when you're a rookie safety, starting alongside another rookie safety. Most of our secondary are rookies, so we still have a long road before us to awards or pro bowls. But that doesn't mean we can't try. My goal this season is just to help my team make the playoffs. The Liberty only went 3-10 last season, which isn't inspiring, but we have far more potential than that and play in a conference that looks pretty open in preseason. The hope is that if we can make the playoffs we can push from there, and if we don't go any further, I think making the playoffs would be a real statement of intent from this very young philly team. I'm also hoping I can get to max speed or near it this season so that I can start diversifying my build and work on things like my intelligence and endurance. The youth on our defense also means we're going to be advancing quickly all season. Brandon Booker, Matt Cross, and I are going to become an all-star secondary, so even if we can't win an ultimus this season, we're going to keep our heads up and get there sooner or later.
