Going into Season 22, Slinky Claxton has a lot to prove. Coming off his Rookie season of the DSFL, he is going back to Portland for a Revenge Tour. After being drafted 64th Overall, much later than expected, Claxton is hoping to show other teams what they missed out on. Although his first season was solid, Claxton is now a Veteran of the Pythons and should be a great leader both on and off the field. One thing that Claxton was a let down on last season was Sacks. He is hoping to improve on that this season as well as tallying up even more tackles and tackles for loss than last year. Aside from those personal goals, Claxton has been named a Defensive Captain going into this season. With that honor, he is hoping to lead the Pythons team to an Ultimini this season. Last year they were cut short by the Kansas City Coyotes but this year they are hoping to rewrite the script. With a stacked defensive core, Claxton truly believes that he has what it takes to help put together an Ultimini run. Aside from the work with the Pythons, Claxton lastly is hoping to develop into a force so he can join up with the Arizona Outlaws next season. Once in the NSFL, it should be his time to shine on the big stage.
