Written Option: Every year is a brand new start. In 200 words or more, describe what your player hopes to accomplish this year. Are there any career bests you want to set, or maybe even a league record? Do you have your eyes on an award? Are you convinced that this is the year you’ll finally win a playoff game? Right now, anything is possible.

With this being my first season in the DSFL, I'm not entirely sure what I should be expecting from my player. I think the rookie year is always the hardest to judge because you don't know how the person will react after playing college football for years and finally getting drafted to the professional league. After seeing a lot of teams pass on me in the DSFL entry draft, I do think some of them don't think I'm going to be a good contributor at the DSFL level. I'm here to change that perception. I think coming into the DSFL, I am probably the best rookie CB so I do expect myself to be at the top of my game. I will be getting a ton of chances to prove my worth. I hope I can get a few interceptions in my first season and I think that will be a pretty big confidence booster for me for the following seasons. I'm not sure how close I can get to any rookie awards because I know that some teams are better and those players will probably get better stats than me but if I can contend for some awards, I'll be very happy. I think our team has really started training well and with preseason starting this week we can see where we're at. I do think we can make the playoffs maybe surprise a few teams along the way.
