It is a completely new world for Bruce Buckley for a variety of reasons. He was picked up by the Arizona Outlaws in the National Simulation Football Draft and was immediately moved up into the big leagues. This was a surprise to Bruce Buckley as he was expecting to remain in the developmental league and assist the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers in going back to back in winning championships. The other major shift for Bruce Buckley was the move from guard to tackle, especially since he is now the starting left tackle for the Arizona Outlaws. Buckley has gone form having massive meat shields in the form Doug Quail and Simon Tremblay on the outside of the line to be the most important figure, being the man who blocks the blindside of starting Outlaws quarterback Jay Cue.
With a major shift occurring, it is difficult for Bruce Buckley to determine which goals he wishes to achieve as it is a period of unknown for him. Buckley wants to perform better than he did last season as well as continuously improve throughout the season as Buckley gets more comfortable in the position. Buckley wants to show that he is an up and coming lineman who will be ready to rock the world. Another primary goal is to be nominated for offensive lineman of the year and potentially be close to a pro bowl debut.
