(S22) - PT1 - Runnin’ Down a Dream

I have a lot of aspirations and goals for this year, both personal and team related. My biggest goal for myself is to break the Liberty single season interception record. Set way back in 2017, held by Jefferson, 7 is the current record. This was a goal I held in Norfolk as well that I was unfortunately unable to accomplish, but now I have an even fiercer drive to break this record in Philly due to my previous failed attempt. I’ve started the season in an electric way, getting 2 interceptions against Chicago in Week 1, so if I can keep up my practice and make the right plays I think I have a good chance to break this record. There are a few awards I’m shooting for as well. Defensive Rookie of the Year and Defensive Back of the Year. I wanna be the best, and I want to stand out among this incredible S22 Class as such.

All of this is a part of my desire to win. I think that this Philadelphia team is really special and I want to help them make a push for the playoffs. While they may be coming off a 3-10 season, I think that the GMs did an excellent job in the offseason, and we have a shot at making some magic happen this year. Playoffs is the goal and everyday I’m pushing myself harder and harder to become better so I can do my part to help the team get there. At the end of the day, everything I do is to help my team and make Philly, my friends and family and myself proud.
