The mission for Lesean Paris Crooks has never changed: to be the best he can be and to lead a life with no regrets. He's not looking to steal the spotlight from any person but in due time, his shine will illuminate the entire world. Being a first-time sim player is not a challenge nor an excuse for any setbacks. Crooks always achieves his goals when his mind is determined. He's always had a Me Against the World mentality and uses any and all slights for motivation.
His first task is to prove that he was drafted too low. He plans to show everyone that passed him up in the draft wrong, and wants to make them realize their mistake every opportunity he can. He equates his situation to fellow Cal Bear alum, Aaron Rodgers, whom also had to endure the pain of teams doubting your skillset, your potential, your ability to learn, grow, adapt, acclimate, assimilate, and acquiesce within the league and its contemporaries.
Individual awards, per se, are not on the mind of Crooks. His secondary(that's a pun) objective is to elevate himself and his teammates to a level where all the critics and doubters that have no faith in his team will be left shellshocked as if they were on the front lines in Saipan or Normandy. Winning the division is the first step; advancing in the playoffs and winning the championship are the endgame; individual accolades will come naturally if the team plays at a high level.
Lastly, his mind is not on the topic at the moment, but getting drafted to the NSFL after one season is the long term achievement. Handling business accordingly will yield results. You train in hell for war so the battlefield feels like heaven.
