As a rookie, there is so much for Byron Dolls to accomplish in his first season in the NSFL. A stellar rookie campaign in the DSFL saw him win the Offensive Lineman of the Year award as a rookie, leading the league in pancakes with 66 and giving up just 1 sack. That led to being selected in the third round of the NSFL draft by the Baltimore Hawks. Dolls was called up immediately to help out on the line. Now Dolls has to follow up his stellar DSFL season with the same immediate impact in the NSFL. At this point, unless there's a drastic shift, it seems unlikely that Dolls will meet the same incredible height he did in his 1 DSFL season. But he can still pile up the right stats, and make a big positive impact. It might not be "top offensive lineman as a rookie" level of good, but so far 11 pancakes through 3 games, with 0 sacks allowed, is a good start. Finishing the season following that trend line is good enough for me to call the season accomplished. Of course, there's plenty of team results to see. It would be good to see success in the standings too, see the Hawks win some games and get to the playoffs. Would be good to see my skill boys put up good numbers too.
