As you may have guessed by his wardrobe choices, he is after all constantly wearing suits, Derred is a somewhat sophisticated gentleman outside of football. He has been rumoured however, to work for the Kingsman secret service over night, explaining his great instincts on the field, alas not much is know about this extremely elite group operating from the shadows. They do have and insist on first rate tailoring however, inciting further rumors that Derred may be a part of this organization.

So is that what he gets up to in his spare time? We may never know, however what we do know is that he does enjoy a relaxing day off, with a nice single malt (scottish preferred), sitting by the fireside with his two dogs and reading a good book.
You may be shocked to find that a man of his calibre enjoys reading fantasy and sci-fi the most as it gives him a wonderful escape from the day to day. He greatly admires the authors capabilities for world building and creating innovative magic systems or never before seen technology. At other times, he enjoys long walks in the countryside with his dogs, preferably somewhere at least hilly as there are no real mountains near London, so he has to settle for hills.
