Undoubtedly, with no hesitation, the worst draft pick of all time was Jayce Tuck. So charming, yet so full of evil, evil, deception. Setting the Outlaws back a third round pick, and ultimately only playing a hand in their demise, Er's player, Jayce Tuck, was worse than a bust.
You see, a bust is explainable. Sometimes a prospect shows ample promise, only to fall victim to inactivity. It's understandable from a GM perspective. It's impossible to maintain a perfect scouting report every year. There are bound to be mistakes. Nonetheless, while a bust is explainable, Jayce Tuck was worse. It took less than one full season before he began planting his multi farm among the new crop of rookies. In fact, Arizona's first round pick of season 2 went to an Er Multi. Is it possible Dustin Evans would have then gone in place of him, had he not been planted? Perhaps, but likely not, as it was at Er's behest that I was drafted by Arizona in the first place.
Now, to elaborate on my previous point, Jayce Tuck was, admittedly, only one small part of the Er multi farm. That said, he was also the original piece, as well. He was hard working (clearly), and was in the war room after only a short time with the team. Using this power, he managed to get his multis drafted to his team, and held out for the outlaws for good measure. However, it wouldn't take but a few more seasons before his dastardly plan of evil was recognized, and he was ousted, forever tainting the history of the Arizona Outlaws.
