I see a lot of people trying to say that their own player is the biggest bust of all time, and they're wrong. But when I say that my previous player is the biggest bust of all time, it might well be no real exaggeration. Cordell Joshua was an Ultimus winning, Pro Bowl defensive lineman. But he didn't just waste one 1st round pick for the San Jose Sabercats, but two. The Sabercats gave up their S7 first round pick to move up a spot and prevent Joshua from being drafted by the Philadelphia Liberty in the S6 draft, meaning the Sabercats invested 3rd overall in S6 and 3rd overall again in S7 into getting Joshua. And what happened? He lasted 3 seasons with the Sabercats before walking, joining the Baltimore Hawks just as they made a real run at the Ultimus. Joshua had a pretty good career with the Hawks all things considered, but in terms of the Sabercats and the draft, this was a huge miss. I think Joshua could well be unique in that he wasted multiple first round draft picks for a franchise, and it surely put San Jose in a bad spot. I can only offer my apologies for the way the situation turned out looking back, it's certainly a rough one.
