I have only been here for 5 or 6 seasons, i haven't seen a lot of drafts. So the one draft pick that i can remember very well was in the Season 19 one, where Sweet James Jones was picked with the 6th overall pick.
The Chicago Butchers were already in a middle of some turbulent times, with GM changes coupled with some awful managerial decisions, so in a draft where they had 3 picks in the first round, they could have used this to get 3 great players and improve their team, but instead decided to trade one of those picks. With their first pick they definitely hit a home run, with Sean O'Leary, but then decided to use their other pick on Jones.
Coming into the draft, Jones was already looked at with some distrust. While earning TPE at a decent rate, those who are normally on discord already knew that there were a lot of concerns about his posture on the game. Racist remarks were common, big feuds existed with a lot of users, so it was a big surprise when Chicago reached for a player that i do not think any other team would touch even with a 10 foot pole.
A 6th overall pick, getting inactive 1 month after the draft, makes this a gigantic draft bust.
