I would have to say that the biggest draft bust in NSFL history is Sweet James-Jones. He is a bust for a multitude of reasons. First, SJJ's player was really, not all too amazing. He had sparks of greatness, but never passed 750 yards in a season, and was always behind O'Leary on the depth chart. Secondly, Chicago had to TRADE UP just to get him. You know what they gave up to take a player who lasted 2 seasons in the NSFL? A future 1oa pick, one that Austin would use to grab (at this rate) a future HOF'er Kyle Idleywild. Thirdly, there were other WRs available that were just straight up better than him. My CO-GM, Rayne Gordon, who has passed 800 TPE, was picked by the Wraiths just a pick later than SJJ was, and I think we all know who the better player was. Fourth of all, the pick of SJJ is what sent the entire Chicago franchise into a deep spiral, because, the pick of SJJ is what sent Toasty, their former 2nd round pick and GM, to Arizona, because Toasty and SJJ could not stand each other at all (I have no idea why Toasty would pick SJJ). And finally, SJJ demanded a monster contract from the Butchers, essentially ruining their cap for that season (7.5 mil for one year), and Chicago would fall into the trap multiple times, paying players way more than they are worth, O'Leary 8.5 mil, Beat to a 5 mil extension, etc...
