Given that this PT is called Boom or Bust, I'd suggest in the future maybe giving the option of writing about a draft bust, or a steal.... I really dislike writing negatively, but will give it a go because... TPE.
As has already been written by many others in this PT, I will be covering the story of Sweet James Jones from the Season 19 NSFL draft class. He is a bust for a number of reasons, not the least of which is his now permanent ban on the site. One of the biggest things that stands out when discussing Sweet James Jones is the fact that Chicago had already drafted a wide receiver just two picks earlier with the fourth overall pick in Sean O'Leary. Sean of course is one of the current stars of the Butchers roster and turned out to be a fantastic pick. Sadly, the same cannot be said for Sweet James Jones.
Jones was already a questionable pick for Chicago, given he had expressed multiple times a desire not to be selected there. Regardless, Chicago took him 6th overall. Jones proceeded to fight with the GM at the time, eventually leaving the league entirely when his IRL best friend got slighted. Eventually they returned and chaos ensued. Regrettable things were said, and eventually poor Sweet James Jones was removed from the league permanently. And thus ends our sad tale of the 6th overall pick in the season 19 draft class.
